2-YEAR WARRANTY ON ALL BOARDS

When you register yourself and your board with us, we offer you a limited warranty of 2 years from the date of purchase for your CALA board (excluding fins, paddles, and other accessories) starting from January 1, 2021.

WARRANTY on iSUPs:

1. We guarantee that all iSUP boards sold by us are free from material or manufacturing defects for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase.
2. If, in the event of a complaint, we determine at our own discretion that a board is defective due to material or manufacturing defects, our liability is limited solely to repairing or replacing the defective product. Monetary reimbursement is excluded.
3. We are not liable for costs, losses, or damages resulting from the product's downtime.
4. The warranty applies only to CALA boards purchased from our online shop or authorized CALA board dealers and is valid exclusively for the original purchaser. Warranty transfers are not possible. Used boards purchased are consequently excluded from the warranty.
5. For any board you want to send back to us for warranty assessment, you must obtain prior return approval from us, which you can request via email at [email protected]. Boards sent without this prior approval from us cannot be accepted.
6. If you send the board directly to us, we recommend using a traceable and insured shipping service.
7. We do not assume responsibility for your board during shipping to our warranty department. Shipping costs will not be reimbursed by us.

LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS:

Unfortunately, the following damages cannot be covered under the warranty:

• Damage due to improper packaging.
• Damage from accidents, negligence, improper use, or mishandling.
• Damage from extreme weather or environmental conditions.
• Damage resulting from towing the board behind motorboats or sailboats.
• Damage from normal wear and tear or product aging.
• Damage to boards labeled as prototypes.
• Damage to boards used as display items.
• Damage to modified boards.
• Damage to boards previously used for commercial or rental purposes.
• Cosmetic defects or color deviations of the CALA boards are not covered under the warranty.
• Damage resulting from exceeding the manufacturer's recommended maximum weight capacity.
• Damage resulting from non-compliance with pressure recommendations, assembly/disassembly, and handling procedures.
• Damages such as punctures, cuts, or abrasions caused by other objects or surfaces (such as sharp rocks, stones, other boards, etc.).
• Damage caused by improper storage, such as in humid, too warm, or too cold rooms or in a wet bag.
• Damage due to excessive UV/heat exposure.
• Dents, depressions, and resulting damages.
• Damage caused by the use of solvents or adhesives.
• Damage and defects resulting from waves, the ocean floor, and bottom deposits.

WARRANTY on other products and accessories:

Paddles:
We offer a manufacturer's warranty of 12 months from the date of purchase on our paddles. This warranty excludes damages caused by materials or objects. Damages caused by the paddle falling, breakage, or damages to the adjustable mechanism due to improper use and/or maintenance, wear and tear damages, as well as damages/defects due to handling beyond the intended purpose, are also excluded. The warranty applies only to CALA paddles purchased from our online shop or authorized CALA board dealers and is valid exclusively for the original purchaser. Warranty transfers are not possible. Used paddles purchased are consequently excluded from the warranty.

Bags:
We also offer a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase on our bags. We do not guarantee damages such as abrasion, holes, tears, defective zippers, or fading caused by improper use, inadequate care, and maintenance. Damages caused by impacts or improper handling are also excluded from the warranty. The warranty applies only to CALA bags purchased from our online shop or authorized CALA board dealers and is valid exclusively for the original purchaser. Warranty transfers are not possible. Used bags purchased are consequently excluded from the warranty.

Fins/Finn Boxes:
We offer a warranty of one year from the date of purchase on fins and fin boxes. Damages caused by use in surf zones are excluded. Damages caused by other materials, surfaces, or objects are also excluded, as well as damages caused by fin falls and normal wear and tear damages. Also excluded are damages/defects due to improper handling. The warranty applies only to fins and fin boxes purchased together with a CALA board from our online shop or authorized CALA board dealers and is valid exclusively for the original purchaser. Warranty transfers are not possible. Used fins and fin boxes purchased are consequently excluded from the warranty.

Pumps:
For our pumps, we offer a warranty of up to one year from the date of purchase. This does not include normal wear and tear damages or damages/defects due to improper handling. The warranty applies only to pumps purchased together with a CALA board from our online shop or authorized CALA board dealers and is valid exclusively for the original purchaser. Warranty transfers are not possible. Used pumps purchased are consequently excluded from the warranty.

Leashes:
We offer a warranty of one year from the date of purchase on the safety leashes of our CALA boards. Damages caused by use in surf zones are excluded. Also excluded from the warranty are damages caused by other materials, surfaces, or objects. Normal wear and tear damages or damages/defects due to improper handling are also excluded. The warranty applies only to safety leashes purchased together with a CALA board from our online shop or authorized CALA board dealers and is valid exclusively for the original purchaser. Warranty transfers are not possible. Used leashes purchased are consequently excluded from the warranty.
